This is a fun and inspiring blog by designer Jessica Hische (see license plate invitation in earlier posts). This was a project she started in 2009 and no longer keeps up with. But she keeps the blog up so people can actually use the drop caps on their personal blogs. This reminds me of the projects that seem to be popular right now where you work on one element a day. I think this would be a great way to work on illustrator skills as well as typography.
