Some of my favorite things in the world are old items and ideas that have been revamped for another purpose. That goes for clothing styles, old furniture, jewelry, doors made into signs, sandwich bags turned into advertisements and wall art. Just about anything including macaroni art if it is well done. I love turning the unexpected into a piece of art that people can continue to enjoy. So, when I saw a post about old buildings turned into bookstores I got really excited. What a wonderful way to refurbish an old theater or church that people are no longer using for their original purpose. Not exactly design related, but definitely inspiring.
